Definition
An
announcement is a special text which people often put it on a public place to tell something that all the people should know, for example school announcement for students of teachers.
Function
An
announcement has a function, that is to announce or to give information about something, such as an event, a new information that all the people must know.
Generic Structure
1. the addressee: It is a sentence or phrase for whom the text is written to.
2. Purpose: It is a sentence why the writer writes the announcement.
3. Day and Date: it mentions the day that the event will be held, and the date of the event.
4. Place: it mentions the place where the event will be held5. Sender: it mentions the name of the writer
Language Feature
- Using
Simple Present Tense and/ or simple future tense.
Announcement can be spoken (oral) or
written.
- Spoken announcement
usually begins with saying “ATTENTION, PLEASE” or anything like that. In
spoken announcement, you should speak clearly so that the targeted people
can easily understand it. Besides, the information should be short and
simple.
- While, written announcement usually begins with the tittle or for whom the announcement is written.

Murid biasanya tidak percaya diri berbicara bhasa Inggris karena kurang menguasai dan kurang berlatih..jadi guru bisa meminta siswa berlatih bersama-sama dulu,berbicara serentak bisa berpasangan atau berkelompok di tempat duduk masing-masing. Kelas akan sangat ramai namun siswa tidak malu sebab perhatian tidak tercurah pada satu dua murid saja.. guru bisa berkeliling mendengarkan percakapan mereka dan membenarkan pronunciation yg kurang pas. Metode ini insya Allah efektif..bila telah mahir berlatih ungkapan baru kita panggil kelompok yg bagus utk presentasi awal..kepercayaan diri siswa jadi meningkat karena berlatih..

ReplyDeleteThanks for the qestion..untuk pembelajaran macam-macam bahasa,baik bahasa Inggris, bahasa Jawa, bahasa Indonesia dll, memang hal yang tampak pertama kali adalah berbicara, seseorang dinilai menguasai dan mahir berbahasa tampak langsung dari berbicaranya.. Media yang bisa digunakan bermacam2 sesuai karakteristik dan kebutuhan siswa di kls n skolh masing2.
ReplyDeleteUntuk bahasa Inggris bisa berupa kartu bergambar, flashcards, atau permainan seperti ular tangga yg dimodif sesuai materi atau juga yg modern ada aplikasi playstore seperti english central.sy sdh implemntasi, siswa mendownload di android masing2 lalu ada berbagai level di situ, siswa dituntun memilih level lalu memilih materi, isinya percakapan native, lalu siswa mengulang kalimat yg diucapkan tokoh dan keluar nilainya langsung.. Autonomuos learning..semakin berlatih nilai semakin tinggi.. Juga ada latihan synonim, vocab dll, dlm english central. Sangat menarik.
